Frequently Asked Questions

We bake all cake orders on a Wednesday and dispatch on a Thursday. This means that your cake will arrive as fresh as possible ready for the weekend. However, if you have a particular event or date that you need your cake for, then do contact us as hello@vickiscaketin.co.uk and we will do our best to help.

Your cake comes safely packaged in a VCT tin (or safely wrapped if you’ve chosen our ‘unwrapped’ option) inside a box, inside a postal bag. It will be posted via Royal Mail tracked 24 service.

We do! We make bespoke cakes for all occasions for delivery or collection in the East Bristol area. Visit our ‘Bespoke Cakes’ page to have a look at some examples of our cakes. (Please note, we do not generally make fondant covered cakes)

If you have an occasion where you need a large order of cakes, please contact us at hello@vickiscaketin.co.uk with the details, and we will do our best to help you with your cake needs!

All of our classic cake flavours are suitable for vegetarians. Please check the ingredients list for our monthly cakes for more information on ingredients and allergens.

Currently we do not make any gluten free cakes, as we have yet to find the perfect recipe.

Your cake should stay delicious for around 5 days if stored correctly in a VCT tin or airtight container. It should also last in the freezer for up to 3 months. Just wrap it carefully in clingfilm or store in an airtight container, then simply defrost (overnight in the fridge ideally) and allow to come up to room temperature before eating.

We’re really sorry that you aren’t 100% happy with your cake. Due to the perishable nature of the product, we do not offer refunds. However, please contact us at hello@vickiscaketin.co.uk and we will try our best to resolve any issues.
